THE PROBLEM

Any crude oil, transported or stored in oil facilities leaves precipitated deposits on the bottom of the containers.

The hydrocarbon sediments in large storage tanks can reach considerable dimensions.

A sludge profile on the bottom of a large crude oil tank. The thickness can reach up to two Meters.

Well over of millions of tons of crude oil sediments precipitate each year in the world's storage tanks!

The sediment can be constituted by deposited asphalts or paraffin, waxes or other highly molecular weight hydrocarbons and inorganic materials as sand and rust ( but mainly in a recoverable form of thickened crude oil).

The problem is how to remove this sludge in the most profitable way. Lindenport has the solution

Desludging today is very expensive and causes considerable damage to the environment and to human health.
